Thank you , Thank you , Thank you!!!

So this past year has been the best year of my life! And I could not feel any more blessed!

So many dreams have come true or are well on their way.
Blair Nicole Photography finally got a new name along with a complete branding overhaul, and has grown so much. We have had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients who we feel truly appreciate our work, and in return we truly appreciate them trusting us with capturing some amazing moments in their lives , and (I feel) most importantly befriending us.

Sean and I have grown so much in our relationship with God, and that has made the hugest difference. There are no words to describe how valuable that is to me.

After lots of saving and planning ....we finally got to take our first big vacation just the 2 of us, and it was nothing short of perfect. When ever I think about it, I just can't help but smile.

We both learned a lot about ourselves – learned what’s worth it, to truly love and appreciate those who have stuck by our sides, and have grown so much as a couple!

Our friends – the new relationships we’ve been able to make and bulid on, and the old friends who have just become like family to us. For the time you have taken out to mentor us, or just plain listen and be supportive, and let us do the same for you. You guys know who you are, and you make us so happy to have you in our lives!

We have had the most amazing blessing of all come into our lives – when God trusted us to take care of one of his beautiful creations, and we already love our little baby so so much – and cannot wait to meet him or her come June! And on that note, I just know that 2010 will be even more amazing and full of love and happiness.

So I just wanted to take a quick second to say thank you! If you are reading this, thank you so much for taking time out for us! Your support and love means so much to us!
My heart is just so full of love for our friends and family, I am so thankful to have each and every one of you in my life!

As we are coming up on Christmas, and the end of the year – I hope you will take a second to think about how blessed you are too and how much you are loved.

We hope you and your family have an amazing holiday full of love like we will!

{We did not have any extra time this year for our annual Christmas card , so here is just a quick picture of us at a family Christmas party a couple weeks ago - because blog posts with no pictures are not as fun! ;) }

{San Juan Capistrano Shootout}

This week I had the privilege of being one of the 50 photographers that were able to attend the latest Photog ShootOut. I’ve told you before how much I just LOVE these events. The whole combination of learning and socializing is great! It’s so fun to network with other photographers and just become better friends with all of these great people that share the same passion, and have such amazing talent!
But I have to say that this was most definitely the best one yet! I had such an amazing time! I swear I drove all the way home from San Juan Capistrano with the hugest smile on my face and the best feeling ever.

The day started out fun enough – being able to carpool and chat it up with Michelle of Mila Photography. Then I got to chill with the amazingly talented Kacee Geoffroy who hustled to do the amazing make up for all of the models – you go girl! (whom I highly suggest for any bride who wants to look fab on their wedding day, she’s got make up skills!).

The Shoot out started with the ever amazing Jasmine Star. Listening to her speak was so motivating and uplifting ,and let me tell you, this girl is just as sweet in person as you would expect! I will stop there before I seem like too big of a fan or something ;) .

We then broke off into groups with some super talented teachers and got our learn+shoot on! Here are a few of my faves :

After the shoot, I got to sit down and eat a delish dinner (thanks to ShootdotEdit) . Socialize a bit, and then if all of this wasn’t enough, Michael and Anna Costa got up and shared so much valuable info. And really put a few things into perspective for me.

If you are a photographer, I highly suggest heading over to PhotogShootOut and joining. These events are just so fun and are truly priceless!

An extra special thank you goes to : Rob, Hanssie, Matt, Michelle , Kristin , Jasmine Star , Michael and Anna Costa... (and all the other teachers+leaders+planners) for making this happen. You guys are so great!

Overall, I have to say that this day could not have been any more perfect, and I feel SO blessed to be part of this group!

See ya’ll on 8/29!

Fullerton Shootout

So a couple weeks ago I met up with a bunch of rad photographers and we went crazy (photographer style) on some hot models! I had such a blast and can not wait till I can take part in anouther one. I made some very sweet friends and FINALLY got to meet some people that I've only been BFF with on-line till now. So to say the least, it was a fantastic opportunity to have a lot of fun and meet some great people....oh! and I took some pictures, that was pretty fun too! ;)

Oh! and my rad friend Hanssie set up this super fun contest with a bunch of the pictures from the shootout. You should go over and vote for your favorite one....and, I mean, you know, extra points if mine happens to be it. Just click here, then scoll down to where it says "click here to vote" .

...and here are some of my faves that I shot!

La Mirada Wedding Photography - { Amir & Ashley: Married! }

Amir is another friend that I also knew from church and high school!

Amir contacted me about a month ago to shoot his intimate chapel wedding. Unfortunately it was pretty early in the day and I already had some plans that were set in stone and made months ago for that morning. Then a few days before the wedding, I get a call from Amir once more telling me they did not find any one else – and by that time I also had plans that evening! But there’s no way I could leave them with out any pictures of their big day! So I adjusted a few things and came to get a few shots at their adorable chapel wedding at St. Paul of the Cross Church- just around the corner from where I live - in La Mirada, and also grabbed a few family portraits. Amir and Ashley have a beautiful family. I shot new born portraits of their amazing daughter last year, and now they have a son on the way – due in a few weeks! I can’t wait to meet their new addition! Their intimate ceremony and reception were the perfect way to celebrate family and I am so glad that I was able to squeeze it into the busy day! :)

Such an adorable little chapel
Ashley waiting patiently for her missing attendant

This little girl was seriously cracking me up - making faces at the guys behind her

Amir's buddies having a good time - played with something a little different & fun here.
